2007-08

Mon. Dec. 3, 2007 — first significant snowfall for the season and snow is continuing to fall!

Sun. Dec. 16, 2007 — 2nd major snowfall. Over 12"

January 11, warm weather and rains have depleted half of the snow cover but still plenty to ski/snowshoe.

2008-09

Opened November 26th. Accumulated 2' of snow at least over the next few weeks.

December 20/21 beautiful snowfall... light and fluffy.

Continuous downfalls of snow until December 24 and it rained, windy, over the next few days lost nearly all the snow.

December 28th was almost 60°

December 30th received 3" of snow... and still coming down.

We are officially closed as of March 23, 2009.

2009-10

Opened December 9th 2009. First storm of the season. Schools are closed.

As of January 1st, 2010, conditions are great. We had some rain last weekend and had to close Sunday, but that just settled and packed the base. Received some snow this past week to cover that solid base and overall great season and we have at least a foot of snow and great coverage.

Conditions continue to be perfect with small amounts of snow continuing to make the trails new and fresh as of Jan 16.

It rained over an inch on January 25 so we lost some snow. The trails held up despite the unfavorable precipitation, and we received a couple inches of snow here and there the following few days so still skiable despite a few thin and icy patches.

We have only received a few light snowfalls for several weeks now as of February 14th, 2010. Trails have been well packed initially so we have a great base and skiing continues to be good despite any good amount of snowfall.

The week of February 22nd, we received well over 2' of snow and then it rained the next day so snow was pretty soggy. Managed to roll out the trails despite the wet snow and by weekend was very skiable although not ideal.

We closed March 21st although there was still enough snow to ski on some trails.

2010-11

Opened December 10th, 2010. Enough snow to have trails 1, 2, 3, 4 and part of 9 open. Received rain on December 12 so had to close on the 13th. Snow is in the forecast!

Opened back up December 14th. Enough snow to open 3 trails.

Have remained open despite minimal snowfall. Finally received 3" past 24 hrs. as of Dec. 23rd.

We received 6-8" from an Atlantic Coast storm over 48 hours, December 27, 2010 while states south received much more.

We lost much of the snow we had over a 2 day thaw, so had to close Jan. 2-4. We received 4" over night Jan. 4th so are back open with almost half the trails skiable. Received another 3" by Jan. 8th. Snow thin but we have 8 trails open. Received another 7" by Jan. 10th. Finally getting a better base.

The snowstorm of Jan. 12-13 brought 14-16" of new snow.

Another 3" on the 15th. All trails open and skiing is great!

Another 5" on the 18th.

Continues to snow a dusting to keep things fresh.

Another blizzard with 12-14" of snow on February 2nd.

46° on February 14 and then froze up next day to 10° — producing a pretty hard surface. Received 2" of snow over next couple days so were able to churn up the surface enough to make skiing still good but not great.

February 25th... storm sent about 9" of nice snow

March 6 : closed today due to rain and warm temps

March 6 (night) & 7th : Received 2 feet of snow which brought things to a standstill... groomed on the 7th & 8th to catch up

Later in week it warmed up so we now have corn snow which has been wonderful to ski on

Received 2-3" of snow on March 10th and March 21 so we are back to winter conditions as the temps stay near to or below freezing during the days as of March 30.

We missed the predicted snow storm for April 1st, but did receive 4" of snow so still open and conditions are spring-like but lots of snow left.

Beginning to warm up finally as of April 11th we officially closed. Still lots of snow out there!
